New BooksIntroductionThis feature searches a list of all items received at each campus during the time periods shown in the Display: box Note: the results may include material that has a status of In process. This means that the item is being catalogued, and therefore is not available on the New Books display at this time SearchingSelect the option you want from each drop down menu - campus location, time period and sort order. You can only select one option from within each box. An optional feature is to search for a title word, author word or call number to find an item. This search can be combined with any or none of the Select location, Period or Sort by options
Records per pageIt is possible to change the number of records that will display on each page. Click on the arrow next to the ... records per page option and select the required number of records Display screenAfter a search you will see a list of titles to choose from. Editing your searchYou can modify your search, or start a new one from the results screen, without having to go back to the original search screen. All of the search options can be accessed by using drop down menus displayed above the titles list#(Hash symbol)The first column (#) on the results is used only for Selecting records for printing or saving. The boxes cannot be used to place a request TitleThis column shows the title of an item. It is a hyperlink that takes you to the brief record for the title AuthorPersonal names are listed with the family name followed by the first nameeg Kendall, Maurice G. Dates of birth and death of the author are included if the information is known LocationBrief location information is displayed under each title, and indicates which campus holds the item Call numberMost items are given a call number based on the Dewey Decimal System.
